Pros and Cons
First impressions were place felt a little musty and it was very cold - travelled in march and it was unusually rainy. However , we liked there was plenty of space and felt sad we wouldn't be able to use the sun terrace.
They had mobile heaters in the property and kept on constantly they did take the chill out of the air. There is no air conditioning in the property and I can imagine in summer that the mobile fan units would not suffice to cool the rooms?
The main challenges was there were a few leaks from the rain in three different places not major leaks but enough to put a bucket in the kitchen up catch it and have to use use towels in the downstairs bedroom. Also on our second morning there was a wet patch needing a towel in the hall way area. The other issue is if you are a light sleeper the noise from the local bar - as in base from the music was a bit much and went on into the early hours. The upstairs room also had a window that does not provide any shade from morning light which was ok for me but can imagine some may find challenging. The music was the major issue though.
The other frustration was the cooker - hint don't use the frying pan it's too light and therefore won't be picked up on the sensitive hob
Overall for two nights it's was ok it would not have worked for us for a longer stay. The proximity to Lisbon was helpful. A microwave and washing machine would have been beneficial.
Nice views and an array of restaurants within walking distance.
