“Had very positive experience with my family over Thanksgiving. Near everything in North Pole and about 20 min from Fairbanks. Very close to Fairbanks Alehouse … walkable, also close to Santa House. Would stay again”

“We booked the studio rental for 8 nights in late Feb. 2025.Great "base camp" in downtown Fairbanks for the two of us to see the city and the surrounding areas.Communication with the owners, Marilyn & Ryle was easy and prompt, including before and during our stay.Well maintained and clean property with plenty of the "basics" (towels, utensils, paper goods, easy to use appliances, etc.) provided.Comfortable, open space with good lighting and seating and plenty of games / puzzles / reading material...

“Colorful Studio is absolutely darling. It has everything one could want or need and the location is just ideal for exploring downtown Fairbanks! ”

“We did a winter trip with outside temps from about 10F at the start to -25F at the end. House held the set temp without a problem and we never ran out of hot water for our group of 9 people. The garage has been converted to living space, so the rental car was outside and plugged in to keep the engine warm. There were plenty of sheets, blankets, and towels for the group. The wifi went out due to a power issue, and the owner stopped by within 2 hours to reset it. The battery light started...

The furnishings were up to date and the local artwork was aesthetically pleasing. The shower was big for a small space and the water was always hot. The bbq, just outside the door, was convenient and in top condition. The hosts were friendly and responsive to any questions we had. The houses in the neighborhood are spaced a good distance...
