The property is listed as VRBO but uses a management company called Vacasa. The emails from Vacasa are not spam but they really want you to get their app for communication. Once I did, it was easier. The house initially looked great. Main areas look clean. After being there and noticing more, it is not cleaned like a hotel. Things like food on dishes that the dishwasher baked on, we washed before using. Trash on bathroom floor, some cobwebs. Not a big deal, it is someone’s vacation home, not a hotel. But between the pans and the windows open, we rated overall cleanliness 2 -3, it’s not “dirty”, but it also had some things that could use a little better attention. If you have realistic expectations, it’s easy to overlook, this house is great for a couple of families to share. Looks like it is an amazing summer/lake house. A few windows were open upstairs when we arrived so the upstairs was 40F. Once the heat was directed upstairs this was not an issue after the first night. It was freezing the first night. Would stay here again. Any issues were minor. 4/5 overall. Thanks for sharing your place.
