“We absolutely loved this house. Right on the edge of the brow and even though trees kept us from seeing the entire valley, we saw beautiful sunsets, listened to the train in the valley and watched deer in the morning and evenings. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable even for us "old folks". It was just the two of us but with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, it would be great for a family! ”

(Host Victoria wasn’t aware they’d been scheduled.) Recommend adding some house numbers to the house to aid in locating. Victoria was very responsive to any questions we had. ”

“The house was clean. There were plenty of clean towels. The kitchen is well stocked with what we needed to cook with. It met most of our family’s needs. However the backyard is very steep and it was difficult for our grandchildren to play there. The dock in person is not near as nice as it looks in the photo listing. That part was disappointing. ”

“We were in town for a family event and the schedule was changing. The host went above and beyond to accommodate us. We let the kids have the upstairs and we slept peacefully on the foldout sofa downstairs. The location was near all we needed but it still felt secluded, private and peaceful. Coffee on the back deck, looking out over the river, was a true highlight. We hope to come back again!”

“This is an excellent property. The only negative is the lack of transparency regarding availability of service for check-in. We had no idea that the front desk closes at 5 pm on a Saturday and we arrived around 6. Had no idea of how to check in, even with the general posted instructions. I tried calling the emergency service number, no response, I finally did figure out the fact that my key was in a safebox.
