“Liked the location, close to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Cabin was cozy and warm with snow shoeing trails nearby. Hosts were responsive and friendly. Didn’t like the bathroom faucet, had to hold handle in order to get water, needs updating. Felt kitchen was lacking a few amenities that all other places have provided (toaster, salt and pepper). ”

“The house was a little smaller than I expected but easily accommodated all 8 of us. Everything we needed was there and house rules/instructions were clear. I gave 4 stars because the shower handle in the master broke the second day. The owner clearly stated that it was difficult and I guess it finally broke. We managed with all of us just more shower planning. All in all it was a nice place to stay. ”

“This was the first stay at the Cabins at Colby Lake for myself and a group of friends. I rented the Moose Cabin and loved it! I heard about this place from good friends who had stayed here a couple of years ago. We got in Thursday night for a 4 night stay, with skiing, Carnival fun in Saranac with the Parade, live music, the ice castle, and fireworks. “We very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin located in Tupper Lake in the Adirondacks. I stayed there with my good friend, her husband, and their teenage son. We had plenty of room to spread out while we weren't out and about the area. The location was in a nice quiet area near the main drag, and was close enough to make separate day trips to both Lake Saranac and Lake Placid. Not knowing the area, this was a good first place to stay, and would definitely return to the Adironacks again.”

“This property is simple, sweet, quiet, and fine if you don't need it to be luxurious or perfect. It's a gorgeous setting, away from neighbors. There are some wildlife issues (lots of scurrying in the rafters at night) due to the quiet and remote location. If the power goes out, a loud generator comes on. Having a generator is such a plus, but it was surprising in the middle of the night.The hot tub was great and the wood stove was cozy. Both needed directions from our host who was very helpful...
