“Positives: This is a hidden gem in Ellsworth. If you have a family and like to cook when you travel, nothing like a good kitchen in your apt/hotel. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Negatives: Others have talked of it - No elevator for older/handicapped people if you get a room upstairs, no ice box Overall good value for the money.”

“This room was amazing! We would highly recommend. It sounded a but strange that it is located within a spa but it was wonderful. The location was great and easy walking to places in Bar Harbor. The room was very comfy and cozy. The amenities were wonderful. The bed was comfy and the towels were great. One of the best VRBO experiences we have had.”

“If you like staying in historical homes with the charm and vibe to match, this is a lovely option. The king size bed wasn’t the most comfortable for my preference as it was very, very ‘soft’, meaning not much support. I have very sensitive allergies when it comes to old homes and I am so grateful I had no issues whatsoever. ”

The back deck is a great spot to have coffee and relax with family. Don’t sleep on the opportunity to use the relaxing spa tub - adjustable options plus soothing lighting. Everything about the house is soothing from lights to seating to wall colors. A half mile walk to the local downtown shopping area is fun. Bar Habor...
