I absolutely loved my stay here. The wood cabins are tastefully decorated and still smell of pine, and everything was immaculate when I arrived. They are set in a gorgeous area surrounded by the foothills of the Cambrian mountains intersected by Cwm Rheidol valley, which is a 5 minute walk from the cabins, so plenty to do nearby but also plenty of scenery if you are just looking for a peaceful space to relax in for a few days. As others have mentioned, the construction of some houses is finishing up behind the cabins, but I wasn't disturbed by this at all. The noise was minimal during the day as they were just fencing while I was there and in the evenings the only sounds are the sheep and the wind. It looks like a new fence is also going up now which will screen the houses from the view of the cabins, but as I mentioned the construction is behind the cabins so can't be seen from inside them anyway as the cabins face out into the hills. I would absolutely recommend foxglove cabin to anyone interested in a peaceful retreat from the business and noise of everyday life.
