“The room was comfortable, particularly the bed, although we did find some broken plastic under the sheet, not sure where it came from. There was no hot water from the sink even after running the tap for a while and the cistern to the toilet kept running after it had filled up. Saying all of that we would probably stay again.”

“We booked family room for 4, the room had a made up double bed and a sofa which only had a duvet, no linen or pillows. Only 2 mugs for teas. On arrival we were told they didnt do breakfast which was included in our stay, the Landlord then cooked us croissants the night before to take to our room for the morning. “Great place to stay, the hosts are fantastic, friendly and inviting. The lodge is clean well kept and to a high standard. Easy to find plenty of parking and the gardens are beautiful. Would definitely stay again. ”

“Very convenient and suited us well. There is a slight smell of damp however on entry to the lounge. You might consider having a lighter weight quilt in the summer but that is only a refinement. All the basics are excellent. ”
