“Loved this guest house! The room is nice and the guest house has common showers and bathroom as well as a common kitchen where you can store whatever you need in the fridge or freezer, which ended up being very handy as almost every store closes before 6pm.. they also offer food there in case you couldn’t get any and I found that very thoughtful. They also offer snorkel rental for 1000yen and is definitely worth it!”
“I was immediately impressed with the image of the exterior, but was truly amazed when I saw how flasslessly maintained, up-to-date and clean the interior was. This is a remote island, so I was expecting something rustic, instead I got 5-star cleanliness and amenities. The staff were nice and one gentleman, Yuusuke always particularly awesome. In a major North American city this hotel would be 5x the price if not more. Also I got the Sashimi platter in the hotel restaurant at a reasonable price. ...
“Our stay in Sea Friend was lovely. Comfortably located 150 m. from Aharen Beach, is a really convenient option. They have a shuttle service to pick you up from Tokashiki Port after you get off the ferry, the personel was very helpful and we definitely had a great time.”

“Cleaning of the room was very poorly done and very late. One day we came back from our daytrip and was not cleaned yet. Second day we arrived at night and the door of the bed room was left fully opened with a cradle!! Service personnel were very nice and offered a free breakfasr, it was nice and nothing finally happened, all was ok inside the room. Thank god it was Japan!”

"It was way more expensive than it should have been. The beach was not for the hotel, it was a public beach in front of the hotel. The area that you were allowed to swim in the beach was extremelly small. The extra activities were super expensive for short amount of time. Not worth it, would not recommend staying here"
